Under the catalysis of light, the oxygen in the air causes the dispersed dyes in the fabric to undergo yellowing and discoloration on the surface of polyester fibers; Especially during the fabric setting process, dispersed dyes with poor sublimation fastness migrate towards the fiber surface during the high-temperature setting process. Dyes that migrate onto the fabric surface can reduce the washing fastness and dry/wet friction fastness of the fabric, and are also prone to color change when sensitive to light and multiple dye combinations. If dyeing T/C fabric, the above problems are generally particularly obvious.
The requirements for fastness are relatively high. Dyeing factories generally adopt the process route of dyeing polyester - reduction cleaning - setting - dyeing cotton - soap washing - setting. Dyeing T/C requires two setting processes, which not only increases the production process but also increases the power consumption of setting, and adds uncertain factors in the production and processing process.
The dispersed dye polyester fixing agent QT-212 produced by our company can effectively solve the above problems. During the dyeing process, first dye polyester - reduce cleaning - dye cotton - soap washing - set, and then add polyester fixing agent QT-212 10~40 g/L (dosage adjusted according to color depth and fastness requirements) to the final set tank. For special fabrics, the impregnation process is first used: 2-3% (o.w.f), followed by drying and shaping. It is also suitable for pure polyester fabrics.
