Substitute alkali QT is an optimized alkaline agent for reactive dye dyeing process. This product is non-toxic, odorless, and pollution-free, with a white powder appearance. Substitute alkali QT is easily soluble in water, and the aqueous solution is alkaline; Substitute alkali has the ability to remove scale, emulsify, disperse, wet, penetrate, and buffer the pH value; Substitute alkali belongs to inorganic alkali products, which are prone to moisture absorption and deliquescence when placed in the air. Sometimes, there may be some clumping, which is a normal phenomenon and has no impact on quality. When using reactive dyes for dyeing and processing cellulose fibers and blends, the traditional process of soda ash can be replaced by 1/10 of the amount, while providing controllable synchronous dyeing and fixation.


【 Advantages of alternative alkali QT 】


1. Substitute alkali QT promotes controllable synchronous dyeing, and its buffering effect is particularly suitable for pH sensitive dyes.


2. Even when used for dyeing processes with small bath ratios, the substitution of alkali QT can slow down the dye fixation rate without affecting the color yield.


3. The amount of substitute alkali QT used is small, only 1/8-1/10 of the amount of pure alkali used, which can significantly reduce the burden of wastewater treatment.


4. Substitute alkali QT has strong dispersibility, which can effectively prevent the generation of white powder and make the fibers bright in color.


5. Substitute alkali QT has excellent alkalinity buffering force and extremely high solubility, which is twice that of pure alkali. It has a cotton uniform dyeing effect and can effectively prevent the generation of colored flowers.


6. Substitute alkali QT is cheap and can effectively reduce costs, saving over 50% compared to using soda materials.


7. After using alternative alkali QT dyeing, it can save about 40% of the washing water and 30% of the neutralization acid.


8. Substitute alkali QT does not generate heat when dissolved in water.


9. The 25kg small packaging of substitute alkali is easy to operate and will not produce fly ash like using pure alkali.


10. Substituting alkali QT can reduce the storage area of the warehouse.


[Method of using substitute alkali QT]


1. Suggested dosage:


Based on dyeing depth, dye type, bath ratio, etc., the optimal dosage is determined based on the sample, usually 1/10 of soda ash.

Note: For fabrics dyed with substitute alkali QT, the shade is slightly different from that of soda ash. Please make a sample in the laboratory to find out the optimal amount of QT before adjusting the dye, and then find out the formula of the shade needed before reproduction.
