Description

Body Smooth Silicone Oil demonstrates highly efficient surface film-forming properties and exceptional binding affinity, imparting fabrics with enhanced loftiness and elasticity. It delivers relatively superior hand feel and hydrophilicity, primarily used for hydrophilic smooth-stiffening finishing of fabrics and yarns. It endows textiles with excellent stiffness, smoothness, elasticity, and drape. Featuring broad applicability, it simultaneously meets the hand-feel requirements for cotton, rayon, polyester-cotton blends, and other fabrics.

Properties‌

Composition: Specially modified silicone emulsion

Appearance: Colorless (or pale yellow) transparent liquid

pH Value: 4–6

Ionicity: Cationic

Solubility: Miscible with water at any ratio at room temperature

Application scope

For ‌softening treatment‌ of cotton, linen, silk, wool, polyester, acrylic, and other synthetic fiber yarns/fabrics in dyeing-finishing mills, imparting ‌excellent soft handfeel‌ to textiles.

Application Methods

Direct addition to dye baths for softening treatment. Recommended procedures:‌

1. Padding‌

Dosage:‌ 20-30 g/L

Process:‌ One-dip-one-nip (pickup rate 70-80%) → Drying → Curing

2. Exhaustion‌

Dosage:‌ 1-3% o.w.f (on weight of fabric)

Process:‌ Immersion (60°C  × 20 min) → Drain → Rinse → Drying

Optimize parameters based on existing mill conditions.

Precautions‌

1.Preliminary lab trials are essential to determine optimal dosage.

2.If used in combination with other finishing agents, conduct prior compatibility tests.

Storage & Packaging‌

1.Store in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated area; protect from sunlight and moisture. Shelf life: 6 months.

2.Packaged in polyethylene (PE) plastic drums, 125 kg/drum.
