Penetrating Scouring Degreaser
Description
Penetrating Scouring Degreaser is a non-ionic, multi-purpose scouring agent scientifically formulated from a blend of specific organic surfactants. It exhibits excellent degreasing and penetrating properties, with remarkably fast wetting and penetration. It is primarily used for the penetrating scouring of cotton, linen fibers, and their fabrics. This agent possesses strong emulsifying, dispersing, penetrating, and impurity-removing capabilities. It integrates the functions of scouring, degreasing, and penetration, thereby reducing chemical consumption, simplifying processes, and lowering costs. It is APEO-free and formaldehyde-free, ensuring safety and environmental friendliness.
Properties
Composition: Blend of specific surfactants
Appearance: Colorless transparent liquid
pH Value: 7 ± 0.5
Ionicity: Non-ionic
Solubility: Soluble in water
Key Features
1.Strong capabilities in penetration, wetting, emulsification, and oil stain removal.
2.Good wetting and penetrating power in acidic, alkaline, and normal conditions.
3.Stable in the presence of acids, alkalis, salts, oxidizing agents, hard water, and metal salts. Compatible with various surfactants, synthetic resins, and bio-enzymes.
4.When used for wool scouring, it does not remain on the fiber, preventing yellowing and keeping the fiber soft. Adding this agent to the wool carbonizing bath can shorten carbonizing time, reduce acid usage, and improve carbonizing efficiency.
Application Methods
Recommended Processes:
1.Degreasing
Scouring Agent: 2.0 - 3.0 g/L
Sodium Hydroxide: 3 - 5 g/L
Bath Ratio: 1:10 - 1:20
95°C × 30 - 40 min
2.Scouring of Cotton Gray Fabric (Yarn)
Scouring Agent: 1 - 2 g/L
H₂O₂: 0 - 3 g/L (Adjust according to whiteness requirement)
Bath Ratio: 1:10 - 1:15
95 - 100°C for 50 - 60 min
Process Flow:
Fill the machine and circulate with scouring enzyme → Heat to 50 - 60°C → Add H₂O₂ → Circulate, heat to 100°C, and maintain for 50 - 60 min → Drain → Hot water wash (60°C, once) → Drain → Anti-oxidizing enzyme treatment for 10 - 15 min → Dyeing
Note: The specific process should be adjusted according to the existing practices of the company.
Precautions
1.Conduct lab-scale trials to determine optimal dosage.
2.Perform compatibility tests before co-bathing with other finishing agents.
Storage & Packaging
1.Store in cool, dry, ventilated area. Protect from sunlight and moisture. Shelf life: 6 months.
2.Polyethylene (PE) drums, lined with plastic bags, 125 kg/drum.
