Textile Repair Agent
Description
Textile repair agent exhibits excellent penetration and dispersion properties, with strong migration ability for disperse dyes. Under high-temperature and high-pressure conditions, it facilitates the transfer of dyes from high-concentration areas to low-concentration areas on the fabric, ensuring uniform coloration throughout the fiber, thereby achieving the purpose of correcting dyeing defects.
Properties
Composition: Specialty nonionic surfactant
Appearance: Pale yellow transparent liquid
pH value: 7.0±1.0
Ionicity: Nonionic
Solubility: Readily soluble in water
Key Features
1. Superior migration performance: ≥85% migration rate on 100% polyester fibers.
2. Excellent dispersion: Significantly improves leveling in disperse dyeing.
3. No adverse effect on shade or fastness; maintains color vibrancy.
4. Functions as eco-friendly swelling agent/carrier for polyester dyeing with easy dilution.
Application Methods
Add directly to dye bath during processing:
1. As high-temperature leveling agent:
Dosage: 0.1–0.5 g/L
Liquor ratio: 1:10–30
Dyeing temperature: 130–140°C
Soaking time: 30–60 min
(Optimize parameters through lab trials)
2. For dyeing defect correction (speckles/unevenness):
Dosage: 1.0–3.0 g/L at 130–140°C
Soaking time: 30–45 min
(For severe specks/stripping: add 2–4 g/L soda ash)
3. As polyester dyeing carrier:
Dosage: 0.3–2.0 g/L
Dyeing temperature: 95–115°C
(Adjust based on existing mill conditions)
Precautions
1. Conduct lab trials to determine optimal dosage.
2. Perform compatibility tests before combining with other finishing agents.
Packaging & Storage
1. Storage: Keep in a cool, dry, ventilated area; protect from sunlight and moisture. Shelf Life: 6 months.
2. Packaging: Polyethylene drum, 125 kg/drum.
