Dye Deepening Agent
Description
Dye Deepening Agent is an enhancing agent for reactive dyeing processes, delivering excellent color deepening and brightening effects. During dyeing of cellulose fibers and blends with reactive dyes, it increases dye uptake while providing controlled synchronous dyeing and fixing, resulting in deeper and more vibrant colors on textiles.
Properties
Composition: Special inorganic salt mixture
Appearance: White homogeneous fine granules
pH value: Approx. 12±1 (1% aqueous solution)
Solubility: Miscible with water in all proportions
Key Features
1. Superior alternative to traditional caustic soda in dyeing processes.
2. Low dosage significantly reduces wastewater treatment load.
3. Exceptional color deepening and brightening performance.
4. Controlled synchronous dyeing with buffering effect, especially suitable for pH-sensitive dyes. Enhances dye uptake in low-liquor ratio dyeing.
5. Excellent compatibility with most dyeing auxiliaries for one-bath application.
Application Method
Recommended process (verify via lab testing):
Dosage: Typically 1/5 of soda ash quantity (optimize via lab test)
Dye: x% o.w.f
Leveling agent: 0.5 g/L
Sodium sulphate: 20-30 g/L
Dyeing Deepening Agent: 5 g/L
Procedure:
Dissolution: Accurately weigh required amount, pre-dilute with 10x water in subsidiary tank, then transfer to dye bath.
Dosing: Add first 1/3 slowly; remaining 2/3 at once.
Bath ratio:
Liquor ratio >10: Calculate based on water volume
Liquor ratio <10: Calculate based on fabric weight
Process: 60°C × 40-60 min (dyeing) → Rinsing → Neutralization → Hot wash → Soaping
Note: Adapt to existing factory processes.
Precautions
1. Conduct lab trials to determine optimal dosage.
2 .Perform compatibility tests before co-bath use with other finishing agents.
Packaging & Storage
1. Storage: Cool, dry, ventilated area; protect from sun/rain.Shelf life: 6 months.
2. Packaging: Polyethylene plastic drum, 125KG/drum.
