Nylon Leveling Agent
Description
Nylon Leveling Agent is a specialized textile dyeing auxiliary designed for acid dye applications, effectively improving dye dispersion and permeability to ensure uniform coloration, minimize shade variation, and enhance color fastness. Suitable for acid dyeing processes on synthetic fibers and blends including silk, wool, and nylon.
Properties
Composition: Special polymer surfactant
Appearance: Yellow transparent liquid
pH value: 8±1
Ionicity: Weak cationic
Solubility: Highly water-soluble
Key Features
1. Significantly improves the dispersion state of acid dyes in water, producing finer and more uniform dye particles to enhance dye utilization and coloring effects.
2. Reduces interfacial tension between fibers and dyes, facilitating better dye penetration into fiber interiors for more uniform dyeing.
3. Balances dye adsorption rates on fibers, minimizing shade differences caused by dye concentration variations to improve coloring uniformity.
4. Enhances color fastness properties including wash, rub, and light fastness, making dyed fabrics more durable.
Application Method
Recommended dosage: 0.5-1.5g/L (adjustable based on actual conditions)
Suggested process:
For optimal leveling effects, add to dye bath before dyes with thorough mixing.
Dilution: Add 0.5-1.5g/L (or 5%-10% of dye weight) to dye bath with complete stirring.
Dye addition: x% o.w.f
pH adjustment: Regulate to 4.5-5 using glacial acetic acid
Temperature profile: Gradually raise to 100°C, maintain for 30-40 minutes
Post-treatment: Follow standard washing, fixing and finishing procedures after dyeing.
(Adjust according to your company's existing processes)
Precautions
1. Conduct lab trials to determine optimal dosage.
2. Perform compatibility tests before co-bath use with other finishing agents.
Packaging & Storage
1. Storage: Cool, dry, ventilated area; protect from sun/rain.Shelf life: 6 months.
2. Packaging: Polyethylene plastic drum, 125KG/drum.
