Reductive Clearing Agent

Description

Reductive Clearing Agent‌ is a specialized chemical auxiliary for removing unfixed dyes and surface staining post-dyeing. Cleaves dye molecules via reductive reaction, enhancing color fastness and brilliance while reducing process time and wastewater treatment costs.

Composition: Proprietary surfactant-reductant system

Appearance: White free-flowing powder

pH value: 6.5 ± 1 (1.0 g/L aqueous solution)

Key Features‌

1. Engineered for ‌reductive clearing after polyester HT dyeing‌.

2. One-bath processing‌ for light/medium shades (no drain required). For dark shades: Drain → Reprepare bath at pH 4.5-5.0 → Treat at 95°C × 20 min → Eliminates residual dyes on fibers/machinery.

3. Reduces dyeing cycle time, energy/water consumption (≤30%), and chemical load in effluent.

4. Compatible with ‌moisture-wicking finishes‌; no color alteration under acidic reduction.

5. Superior ‌anti-staining effect on spandex‌ vs. hydrosulfite-based clearing.

6. Non-foaming‌ for trouble-free operation.

7. Application of our reductive clearing agent at 1.0% (owf) significantly enhances color fastness properties.

Application Method‌

Substrate: Polyester, T/N Blends

After dyeing: Cool to 95°C without draining

Add acetic acid 0.5 g/L → Adjust pH to 4.5-5.0

Reductive Clearing Agent: 1.0–3.0 g/L

Run at 95°C × 20 min → Drain → Rinse with warm water (60°C)

Packaging & Storage‌

1.‌ Storage:‌ Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place. Protect from direct sunlight and rain/moisture. Shelf life: 6 months.
