Description

Acid Fixing Agent (pH Adjustment Free)‌ specifically designed for fixing acid dyes and metal complex dyes on nylon after dyeing. This product requires no pH adjustment and is a specialized textile auxiliary for anionic dyes. Its core component is a high molecular weight aromatic sulfonic acid condensate.

It bonds physically and/or chemically with the dye and fiber, forming stable structures to enhance the color fastness of dyed substrates. Suitable for nylon, wool, silk, leather, and similar materials.

Key Features‌

1. Effective for micro-denier nylon and elastane-blended elastic fabrics.

Application Methods‌

Thoroughly rinse dyed fabric before fixation, as residual cationic or nonionic leveling agents will impair fixative performance.

Recommended Processes:‌

1. Exhaustion Process:‌

Medium shades: 1–2% (o.w.f.)

Deep shades: 2–3% (o.w.f.)

Liquor ratio: 1:5 to 1:10

Temperature & Time: 80°C × 20 minutes

2. Padding Process:‌

Pad at room temperature (single dip and nip, pickup 70–80%) → Dry → Cure

Dosage: 10–30 g/L (adjust according to depth of shade)

Precautions‌

1. Conduct laboratory trials to determine optimal dosage.

2. Perform compatibility tests before using in combination baths with other finishing agents.

Storage & Packaging‌

1. Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area. Protect from sunlight and rain. Shelf life: 6 months.

2. Packed in polyethylene drums, 125 kg/drum.
