Denim Fixing Agent

Description‌

Denim Fixing Agent is a novel fastness enhancer specifically engineered for denim wash machines, forms protective layers on fibers through polycationic compound bonding. It enhances color fastness while reducing color bleeding, exclusively developed to improve wash-down resistance of cotton and polyester/cotton dyed fabrics. It is free from formaldehyde, ensuring safety and environmental compliance.

Application Methods‌

Recommended for garment laundries and continuous pad systems:

1. Padding Method:‌

Process:‌ Pad at room temperature (one dip-one nip, pick-up 70–80%) → Dry → Cure

Dosage: 30–50 g/L

2. Exhaust Method:‌

Process:‌ Immerse (60°C × 20 min, isothermal) → Drain → Rinse → Dry

Dosage: 3–5% o.w.f.

Note: Adjust the process based on your factory’s existing procedures.

Precautions‌

1. Conduct laboratory trials to determine optimum dosage.

2. Verify bath compatibility before combining with other finishing agents.

Storage & Packaging‌

1. Store in cool, dry, ventilated area. Protect from sunlight and moisture. Shelf life: 6 months.
