Foam-Free Scouring Agent
Description
Foam-Free Scouring Agent is extensively utilized in textile pre-treatment and wash-off operations. It delivers superior emulsification, dispersion, and penetration, effectively removing oils, greasy soils, and unfixed dye (loose dye) from substrates. In denim wash processes, it enhances desizing and detergency efficiency. When applied to wash-off of silk (direct/acid dyeing or printing), silk/cotton unions, synthetics, bright/dull t/c poplins, and Fujun rayon blends, it provides rapid soil removal, protects white grounds, enhances color vibrancy, reduces water/energy consumption, and improves process efficiency. Also functions as a dark shade enhancer for deep-colored fabrics.
Properties
Composition: Proprietary surfactant system
Appearance: Pale yellow to amber transparent liquid
pH Value: 9.5 ± 1
Ionicity: Anionic
Solubility: Readily soluble in cold water
Key Features
1. Effective Loose Dye Removal: Exhibits powerful dispersing, chelating, and detersive properties for efficient unfixed dye removal.
2. Enhanced Fastness & Color Yield: Improves wash fastness, yields brilliant shades, and offers white ground stain blocking.
3. Reduced Water Consumption & Effluent: Facilitates efficient rinsing, lowering water usage and effluent load.
4. Inherently Foam-Free: Eliminates foam-related defects (foam marks, soap spots) during wash-off.
Application Methods
Dosage varies with substrate type, weight, construction, and machinery configuration.
Recommended Wash-off Procedure:
Dosage: 1-2 g/L
1. Light to Medium Shades:
Dyeing/Printing → Hot Rinse (60°C, 20 min) → Soaping (60°C, 20 min) → Hot Rinse (70°C, 20 min) → Acetic acid neutralization → Cold rinse to clear → Fixation / Finishing.
2. Sensitive Shades (Scarlet, Turquoise, Emerald) & Heavy Depths:
Dyeing/Printing → Hot Rinse (80°C, 20 min) → Soaping (80°C, 20 min) → Hot Rinse (70°C, 20 min) → Acetic acid neutralization → Cold rinse to clear → Fixation / Finishing.
Note: Specific parameters should be finalized according to the customer's existing process.
Precautions
1. Lab-Scale Evaluation: Determine optimal dosage through laboratory trials.
2. Compatibility Testing: Perform compatibility tests prior to bath sharing with other finishing auxiliaries.
Storage & Packaging
1. Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated location protected from direct sunlight and moisture. Shelf life: 6 months.
2. Packed in HDPE drums, 125 kg net weight per drum.
