Phosphorus-Containing Chelating Dispersant
Description
Phosphorus-Containing Chelating Dispersant exhibits strong chelating power for calcium, magnesium, and iron ions, along with excellent stability and dispersibility. It is suitable for the entire dyeing and finishing process. During pre-treatment, it effectively prevents peroxide pinholes, significantly improves scouring efficiency/whiteness, and inhibits equipment scaling. When used in post-dyeing soaping, it enhances the removal of unfixed dyes.
Properties
Composition: Specialty phosphate compound
Appearance: Pale yellow transparent liquid
pH Value: 13±1
Solubility: Highly soluble in water
Key Features
1. Superior chelating capacity without foam generation.
2. Effective dispersion and suspension properties to prevent equipment and fabric soiling.
3. Efficiently chelates calcium, magnesium, iron ions, and softens water.
4. Strong scale inhibition and dissolution capabilities.
5. When used with peroxide stabilizers in bleaching baths (both steaming and cold pad-batch processes), it controls violent peroxide decomposition, prevents pinholes, and enhances fabric whiteness and levelness of bleaching.
Application Method
Recommended Dosage:
Add to water before dyes or other auxiliaries to optimize process efficacy.
Batchwise pre-treatment: 0.5–2 g/L
Continuous pre-treatment: 1–5 g/L
Dyeing bath: 0.5–2 g/L
Post fluorescent whitening: Use 0.5–1.5 g/L at 80–90°C for 10–20 min to improve whiteness, storage stability, and prevent yellowing.
Post-dyeing rinsing: Enhances wash-off efficacy and improves wash fastness.
Adjust dosage according to existing mill procedures.
Precautions
1. Conduct lab-scale trials to determine optimal dosage.
2. Perform compatibility tests before combining with other finishing agents in the same bath.
Storage & Packaging
1. Storage: Keep in a cool, dry, ventilated area; protect from sunlight and moisture. Shelf Life: 6 months.
2. Packaging: Polyethylene drum, 125 kg/drum.
