Penetrating Agent
Description
This Penetrating Agent demonstrates excellent wetting/penetrating properties and air-displacement performance on various synthetic fibers and blended fabrics (e.g., T/C, T/W). Suitable for pre-treatment, dyeing, and finishing processes. Applicable to cotton, linen, silk, wool, polyester, acrylic fibers, and their yarns/fabrics.

pH Value: 5.5±1 (1% solution)
Ionicity: Nonionic
Solubility: Readily soluble in water

Application Methods
Optimum dosage varies according to substrate type, condition, and equipment. Recommended range: 1.0–3g/L.
Recommended Processes:
1. Cotton Scouring & Bleaching
Penetrating Agent: 0.5–2g/L
Scouring Agent: 1–2g/L
H₂O₂: 2–5g/L
Peroxide Stabilizer: 0.5–1g/L
Caustic Soda: 2g/L
Liquor Ratio: 1:10 | 95–100°C × 60min
2. Cotton Dyeing (Reactive)
Penetrating Agent: 0.5–1g/L
Reactive Dyes: x% o.w.f.
Soda Ash: 20g/L
Sodium Sulfate: 50g/L
Liquor Ratio: 1:10 | 50–60°C × 30–60min
Note: Optimize parameters according to existing mill procedures.
Precautions
1. Conduct lab-scale trials to determine optimal dosage.
2. Perform compatibility tests before co-bathing with other finishing agents.
Storage & Packaging
1. Storage Conditions: Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area. Protect from direct sunlight and rain.
2. Shelf Life: 6 months from manufacturing date.
3. Packaging Specifications: 125 kg/drum in HDPE (high-density polyethylene) drums with inner polyethylene liners.
