Turquoise Fixing Agent
Description
Turquoise Fixing Agent is used for the after-treatment of cotton, viscose rayon, and polyester/cotton blends dyed with reactive dyes, direct dyes, vat dyes, and sulfur dyes. It is particularly effective for turquoise/blue-green shades. Formaldehyde-free and free from heavy metal ions, it significantly improves the wash fastness and wet processing fastness of direct dyes and reactive dyes, with especially outstanding fixing results for turquoise/blue-green dyed fabrics.
Properties
Composition: Polycationic compound
Appearance: Orange-red transparent liquid
pH Value: 10±1
Ionicity: Cationic
Solubility: Miscible with water in any ratio
Key Features
1. Suitable for fixing treatments of vat dyes, sulfur dyes, and indigo dyes.
2. Significantly improves water soaking fastness, soaping fastness, perspiration fastness, etc., of treated fabrics.
3. Minimal impact on fabric shade and hand feel.
4. Delivers markedly superior performance for turquoise/blue-green dyed fabrics compared to conventional fixing agents.
5. Formaldehyde-free, complying with environmental standards.
Application Methods
Thoroughly rinse dyed fabric (perform soaping if necessary) before fixing treatment to remove residual dyes, salts, and alkalis, ensuring optimal fixing results.
Recommended Processes:
1. Exhaustion Method:
Dosage: 1~3%o.w.f (on weight of fabric)
Temperature & Time: 60°C × 15~20 min
Process: Dyed fabric → Treat in fixing agent bath at 60°C, run for 15~30 min → Rinse → Dry.
2. Padding Method:
Dosage: 20~50g/L
Process: Dyed fabric → Pad trough at room temperature (one-dip-one-nip) → Dry.
Note: Optimize specific processes based on your company's existing procedures.
Precautions
1. Conduct preliminary lab trials to determine optimal dosage.
2. Prior compatibility testing is essential if used in combination with other finishing agents in the same bath.
Storage & Packaging
1. Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area, protected from direct sunlight and rain. Shelf life: 6 months.
2. Packed in polyethylene(PE) plastic drums, 125 kg/drum.
