Polyester Fixing Agent

Description

Polyester Fixing Agent‌ applicable for after-treatment of disperse-dyed polyester fabrics, significantly enhancing ‌wash fastness‌. Particularly effective in improving ‌wash fastness‌ and ‌rubbing fastness‌ for polyester and polyester/cotton dyed fabrics. Formaldehyde-free, environmentally safe. Suitable for padding and exhaustion processes on polyester and blended fabrics, as well as yarn fixing.

Key Features‌

1. Remarkably enhances ‌rubbing fastness‌ of polyester and polyester/cotton fabrics at ambient temperature compared to conventional fixing agents.

2. Improves ‌sublimation fastness‌ of disperse dyes and effectively boosts ‌wash fastness‌.

3. Minimal shade alteration after treatment, preserving original fabric hand.

4. Reduces sublimation tendency of disperse dyes under high temperatures, substantially upgrading wash fastness.

Application Methods

1. Padding Process:‌

Process: Single dip-nip (Wet pick-up: 70-80%) → Drying → Curing

Dosage: 20–30g/L

2. Exhaustion Method:‌

Process: Immersion (60°C × 20 min, constant temp.) → Drain → Rinse → Dry

Dosage: 1–3% o.w.f. (On Weight of Fabric)

Precautions

1. Conduct lab trials to determine optimal dosage.

2. Perform compatibility tests before combining with other finishing agents.

Packaging & Storage‌

1. Store in cool, dry, ventilated area; protected from direct sunlight and moisture. Shelf life: 6 months.

2. Packed in polyethylene (PE) drums, 125 kg/drum.
